COLOUR STUDIO
Find your collection’s colour story.
Explore digital colours, build a palette and record physical colour references for your next collection.
This is a digital HEX/RGB palette studio, not a licensed Pantone catalogue or a HEX-to-Pantone converter. Record your own Pantone TCX/TPG reference separately and approve a physical swatch or lab dip. Screen colours vary by device and material.
Colour approvals: choose a reference, then control it.
| Reference | Useful for | Important limitation |
|---|---|---|
| HEX / RGB | Digital planning, presentations and palette communication | Display and lighting affect appearance; not a physical textile standard |
| User-supplied TCX / TPG code | Recording the reference your project intends to use | This site does not verify or convert a proprietary Pantone colour |
| Physical fabric swatch | Assessing actual substrate, texture and shade | Keep an identified approved reference and agreed lighting |
| Lab dip | Reviewing a dyed trial on the intended material | Record approval and any allowed lot variation |
| Print strike-off | Checking artwork/ink on the production substrate | Approve actual method, fabric colour and care result |
A balanced collection palette
Begin with a dominant base, supporting colours and a limited accent. Evaluate all colours on the actual fabric rather than treating a screen palette as a purchasing instruction. A darker colour may need a different opacity or print trial than a pale colour on the same construction.
| Palette role | Planning question |
|---|---|
| Core neutral | Will this support repeat orders and multiple styles? |
| Supporting tone | Does it coordinate with the base in real material? |
| Accent | Is demand sufficient for a separate colour minimum? |
| Trim match | Do rib, zippers, thread and labels need a match or deliberate contrast? |
| Approval record | Who approved which physical reference and revision? |
